HYBRID Wood Stoves
  In 2011 we came out with our first dual combustion "hybrid" wood stove, the Progress Hybrid. The Progress Hybrid was the first wood stove to combine the use of a catalytic combustor (which works best at a low-moderate burn rate) and a secondary air combustion system (which works best a a moderate-moderately high burn rate). By combining the two types of reburn technology used in the wood stove industry we were able to increase heat output, increase efficiency, and lower the emissions over all four burn rates.
  Then in 2013 we brough our prototype design of the Ideal Steel Hybrid, our first steel body hybrid stove, to the International Wood Stove Design Challenge, which took place on the mall in Washington D.C. The stoves at the design challenge were marked on the following criteria: 1) Efficiency; 2) Emissions; 3) Affordability; 4) Innovation; 5) Market Appeal. The Ideal Steel Hybrid, after days of testing and review a panel of judges, took home the $25,000 Grand Prize and was showcased in Popular Mechanics Magazine as well as National Geographic online.
  Our newest steel hybrid, the Absolute Steel Hybrid, was introduced in 2015 and has an ultra-low EPA emissions of 0.5 grams per hour. The Absolute was designed with 7 distinct styles, including a tall version for easy loading,  and comes in a multitude of color combination choices.

CATALYTIC Soapstone Wood Stoves

The Palladian has been in production since 1992, the Keystone since 1994, and the 205 version of the Fireview since 1996.
All three of these high-efficiency, low emissions catalytic wood stoves have met and exceeded the new, stricter, 2020 emissions standard for over 20 years! Our catalytic wood stoves have a proven track record with tens of thousands of happy owners all across the country, and beyond.
All of our catalytic soapstone stoves are built using two thick layers of soapstone, the inner panels are 1.125” thick and the exterior panels measure .75” thick, with a beautiful cast iron frame. The soapstone mass retains the heat from the firebox and releases it evenly, providing a nice steady heat output, even after the fire dies down.
